Currently working as a Software Engineer 4 at Granicus, a digital civic engagement platform for government, Lakshmi has been involved in building embeddable tools using monorepos and serverless architecture. She has also collaborated with Product Management and UX to understand business needs and find the best technical solutions for meeting those needs. In her previous role at Bang the Table, Lakshmi was a key contributor to the development of user interfaces for the admin and user-facing platforms. She worked on migrating legacy Ruby apps into Next.js applications and single-handedly improved web accessibility for the user-facing platform. Lakshmi has also worked as a Frontend Developer Intern at Bang the Table, where she was responsible for developing frontend interfaces for new features and providing bug fixes that come up as defects. Lakshmi holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Anna University. She has also completed a program at Infosys Mysore Development Centre.
