Lakshya Agarwal is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a passion for backend development and a talent for creating efficient and effective systems. Currently employed as a Summer Intern at Akamai, Lakshya is responsible for automated computation of effective capacity of servers within a time frame of less than 30 seconds. He has also been instrumental in retrieving and processing data from proprietary databases by Flask APIs. Lakshya has a keen eye for detail and ensures error handling and input sanitization at both the frontend and backend. He has also coded appropriate test cases, log file generation, configurations, and retry instances at the backend. Prior to his current role, Lakshya gained valuable experience as a Summer Intern at Almaconnect, where he analyzed over 6 lac+ user profiles and job requirements to introduce broad categories of job roles. He standardized job titles with 50+ new titles, which had an adoption rate of 25% in 8 weeks among existing users. He consumed the standardized titles in search and filter modules to improve the application rate by 15%. Lakshya has also served as an APOGEE Coordinator at Physics Association, where he initiated two new events, Movie Screening, and Meme Competition. He also planned to introduce experiments that would engage the audience. Lakshya is a graduate of Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, where he earned a B.E. in Computer Science and an M.Sc. in Physics. He has a strong background in relevant technologies, including ReactJS, Flask, and Frontend.
