Lakshya Gupta is an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in Risk Modelling. He currently works as a Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and has over 2 years of relevant experience. Lakshya holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi. Before joining JPMorgan, Lakshya worked as an ML/AI Intern at Melopond, where he was involved in developing a multi-layer AI-based music recommendation system. He was responsible for developing the recommendation algorithm and integrating it with the back-end. Lakshya also worked on creating APIs on Flask that were integrated with the website and app, which were hosted on AWS. Lakshya has also worked on a smart-watch project at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where he was part of the keyword detection team. He used MFCC feature extraction and RNN for keyword detection and applied adaptive thresholding for variable devices based on the average background noise. He also used a two-pass detection for audio samples that barely crossed the first threshold by using a speaker identification model that estimates the resemblance to the user based on pre-recorded samples.
