Lakshya Khandelwal is a Senior Data Scientist with over 7 years of experience in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML). Currently, he is working with Walmart as a Senior Data Scientist, where he is responsible for developing and implementing advanced algorithms for data analysis and predictive modeling. Prior to joining Walmart, Lakshya has worked with Adobe and Samsung, where he has gained extensive experience in developing end-to-end product features and managing teams of interns. At Adobe, he has developed a framework for identifying trending keywords using topic clustering and Google Trends data. He has also presented his work on keyword multilingual variations generation using Bilingual word embedding at the Adobe Tech Summit in San Francisco. At Samsung, he has designed state-of-the-art abstractive Text Summarization systems based on Encoder-Decoder pointer networks with coverage mechanism and sentence ranking. He has also implemented deep model compression, improving end-to-end latency and server memory footprint using CNN Quantization. Lakshya holds a BS-MS Dual Degree in Mathematics and Scientific Computing from IIT Kanpur. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in several technologies such as Spark, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Python, Big Data, XGBoost, Search, CNN, Azure, Mobile, and Infra. He has also worked as a Product Manager and Senior Software Engineer, which has given him a unique perspective on the entire product development lifecycle.
