Lalit Gandotra is a highly experienced Engineering Leader with over 20 years of experience in delivering transformational initiatives across various domains. Currently, he is serving as the Senior Director of Engineering at Myntra, where he is leading the development of a platform for customer engagement and retention, including Myntra's loyalty program called Insider, influencer-led shopping - Myntra Studio, live streaming, and CRM Platform. Prior to Myntra, Lalit worked with large companies like Visa and Walmart, where he delivered critical products and drove major strategic initiatives. At Visa, he built a customer support application to solve day-to-day operational queries of global Visa Merchants. He also led efforts to provide an improved experience for developers to integrate APIs with ease. At Walmart, Lalit's team drove the entire platform development for eCommerce Fulfillment, which added $8 billion in additional revenue for the company. His team also delivered critical products in supply chain where the newer systems could track compliance and take necessary action when Walmart's transportation network of 6,000 trucks deviates from plan. Lalit is a strong advocate of agile methodologies and constantly improves engineering practices. He is an expert in BIG Data technologies and designing distributed systems. He is also skilled in hiring talent for various roles, mentoring and grooming people, managing stakeholders, building trust, and having strong collaboration. Lalit is an innovator who applies technology to solve business problems and delivers highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and cloud-deployable applications. Lalit has a Master's degree in Computer Applications from IPS Academy and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Delhi University. He has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer and has relevant experience of over 20 years.
