Lalit Patel is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in the tech industry. He is currently the Head of India and APAC at Instawork, a US-based startup backed by Benchmark Capital and Google Ventures. Lalit co-founded a gaming startup BASH Gaming, which was later acquired by GSN in 2014. He was also an early engineer at SlideShare, which was acquired by LinkedIn. Lalit has built and delivered mobile and consumer web applications on the cloud that have scaled to millions of users across devices and generated multi-million dollar revenue per month. He has set up multiple teams in India from scratch and has a proven track record of hiring, retaining, and motivating high-performance and nimble teams. Lalit has successfully integrated and scaled up post-acquisition. In addition, Lalit has set up ancillary teams such as customer success, data operations, lead generation, and negotiated large contracts and leases. He has also helped design and set up multiple brand new office facilities from the ground up. Lalit has set up multiple businesses in India from the ground up, including HR, legal, finance, and compliance. He has also helped in due diligence for prospective acquisitions. Lalit is currently an investor at glip, where he is dropping NFTs live on stream. Lalit holds a B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from KIIT University.
