Lalit Swami is a highly motivated and self-taught Data Scientist with 3+ years of experience in solving critical business problems using big data tools, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling. Currently working as a Data Scientist with PayU Finance, he has deployed several trained models to production and has worked on a large number of datasets. Lalit is well-equipped with mathematical concepts and is passionate about extracting insights, visualizing data, and making better decisions by asking the right questions. Before joining PayU Finance, Lalit worked as a Data Scientist with OLA in Bengaluru, where he was part of the Data Science Pricing Team. He worked on enhancing customer and partner experience for the Ola Cabs app, which has over 200M+ customers and 2.5M+ partners. Lalit has experience in working on various projects, including Partner Lifecycle Management, Dynamic Pricing, and Web Scraping. Lalit is a graduate of Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering in 2019. He is proficient in programming languages such as Python, PySpark, R, SQL, and Shell Script, and has experience working with tools like AWS, MicroStrategy, Git, Apache Spark, Apache Hive, and Hadoop. Lalit is also well-versed in operating systems like Linux, Unix, and Windows. Lalit is always looking for opportunities to collaborate on challenging projects to sharpen his skills and expand his knowledge base. He is a quick learner and has a passion for self-improvement.
