Lalit Vatsal is an experienced software developer with a passion for distributed systems, concurrency, functional programming, and data science. He is highly proficient in Java and Scala and currently works in the application performance metrics domain. Lalit has extensive experience with e-commerce systems and has worked on inventory management, order processing, logistics, and payment modules of the HEALTHKART.COM backend. He has also worked on the backend of the mall browsing and shopping app "Shop Your Way - Relay" while at Sears. Lalit is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, where he obtained an integrated dual degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering. He has a strong background in cloud-native technologies, including OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and microservices. Lalit is also skilled in data engineering, SQL, and test automation. He is currently honing his machine learning and data science skills. Lalit is currently a Trainee Engineer at efy, where he is an independent member of the R&D team working on building prototypes for electronic and embedded systems projects. He has built working prototypes of temperature indicators and controllers, desktop GUI apps for fingerprint reader and GPS tracker modules, a complete GSM and GPS-based vehicle tracking system, and a room member count tracker based on entry-exit sensing on a single door.
