Lalitha Kameswari is a highly skilled Software Engineer with experience in building end-to-end software systems. She is currently working at Google in the Google Docs team, where she is responsible for developing innovative solutions to real-world problems. Lalitha is a graduate of the International Institute of Information Technology, where she earned a B.Tech (Hons) in Computer Science and an M.S in Computational Linguistics. Lalitha has a strong research background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and is experienced in Machine Learning. She is always striving to create an impact through technology and is open to challenging and impactful opportunities. Lalitha has worked as an SWE Intern at Google and Microsoft, where she gained valuable experience in software engineering. Prior to her current role at Google, Lalitha worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Precog @ IIITD, where she explored Computational Social Science, focusing on the intersection of Politics and Social Media under the guidance of Prof. Ponnurangam Kumaraguru. She also worked as a Research Assistant at the International Institute of Information Technology, where she worked on the Indic Wiki project primarily focusing on Telugu under the guidance of Prof. Vasudeva Varma and Prof. Radhika Mamidi. This project is a joint initiative of the Government of India and IIIT Hyderabad, which aims to make Wikipedia content available in all languages. Lalitha's technical skills include Software Engineering, NLP, Research Science, and ML. With 1.28 years of relevant experience, she is highly motivated and passionate about her work. Lalitha is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to make a difference through technology.
