Lara Garg is an accomplished Software Engineer with 3.19 years of experience in the industry. She is currently working at Cisco India as an SDE 2, where she has honed her skills in Javascript, Web Development, Python, Bitcoin, AWS, test, SQL, Postgres, NodeJS, Docker, Research Scientist, NoSQL, Cassandra, Jenkins, Search, Integration, and Java. As an alumnus of IIT Roorkee, Lara completed her B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. She was also a former national level badminton player and served as the Vice-Captain of the IITR Badminton team, leading them to multiple podium finishes at various tournaments. In her free time, Lara likes to indulge in video editing using Premiere Pro. She has a creative side that she likes to explore and experiment with. Lara's professional journey began with Reachivy, where she worked as a Web Developer. During her tenure, she spearheaded the process of integrating a chatbot with Reachivy's web portal, improving user experience. She also built a data scraping pipeline to automatically collect and clean data from various universities' websites. Additionally, she worked on Search engine optimization for Reachivy's website by using keyword analysis utilizing Google keyword planner. Currently, Lara works at CureLink as a Growth Engineer. She is responsible for driving growth, user acquisition, and retention initiatives. She works closely with the team to develop and execute strategies that drive user engagement and revenue growth.
