Laura Miller is an experienced visual designer with a passion for software engineering. She is currently working as a graphic design intern at paay, where she is responsible for the layout and design of API documentation pages and other web page features. Laura is also a software engineer on the Platform and Infrastructure team at Curai, where she uses her expertise in design to create visually appealing and user-friendly software. Prior to her current roles, Laura worked as a task manager for the Design Lab at Memphis College of Art, where she oversaw the redesign of interior walls at Strawberry Plains, part of the National Audubon Society. She also contributed significantly to the design and execution of wall graphics. Additionally, Laura worked as an assistant teacher at Memphis College of Art, where she mentored students and assisted instructors with lesson plans. Laura holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Memphis College of Art and a Fellowship in Software Engineering from Hackbright Academy. She has a diverse tech stack, including experience as a software engineer, infra, and designer. With over eight years of relevant experience, Laura is a versatile and skilled professional who is passionate about creating innovative and visually stunning software solutions.
