Prior to joining Microsoft, Lavanya worked at Expedia as a Software Engineer II and at Adobe as a Software Engineer. During her time at Adobe, she developed a Chroma Key feature for Adobe Connect that replaced the static background with any prerecorded video or image in real-time for marketing or presentations. She received the Best Innovation Award for the same. She also designed and developed end-to-end web dashboards that fetched data from databases using REST API and presented it on any device for multiple Adobe teams. Lavanya holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Software Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, where she graduated in 2015.
