Laveen Chandwani is a highly motivated and talented Software Engineer with a passion for problem-solving and learning new technologies. Currently working as a Microservices (Java) backend developer at Bajaj Finserv Direct Limited (BFDL), Laveen has gained extensive experience in B2B Horizontal teams dealing with services like Authentication and Payments. He has added additional endpoints and solved bugs & vulnerabilities in the present services. Laveen's expertise in Machine Learning was honed during his internship at Bennett University, where he was part of a team that designed an ML-based project called "Armed, Injured & Other Suspicious Activity Recognition using Drone Surveillance." The project was able to detect violence and classify them into categories like Accident, Robbery, Fighting, etc., with an accuracy of 98% (training) & 84% (validation) obtained from SlowFast Model compared to other models like 3DCNN, 2DCNN+LSTM, etc. The dataset used was taken from Kaggle website. Laveen is a BTech graduate with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Pune. He also holds a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) from Jai Hind Junior College and a Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from SindhuRatna's S.V.C Mahatmaji English School. Laveen's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Backend, ML, Java, and Microservices. He has solved over 600 Leetcode problems and has published a paper on IEEEXplore in 2021. He has also ranked 106th at CodeKaze'22. When not working, Laveen enjoys playing chess or badminton, reading books, and listening to podcasts. With a relevant experience of 0.35 years, Laveen is a driven and dedicated professional who is always eager to learn and grow in his field.
