Laxmipathi Bhat is a seasoned professional with over 18 years of experience in the automotive software industry. He has a strong background in software design, development, review, integration, testing, quality control, and leading teams. Currently, he serves as a Sr. Software Solutions Engineer - Model Based Design at MathWorks, where he is responsible for providing advanced support for industry applications of MathWorks products. Laxmipathi has expertise in embedded software development for the automotive industry, both manual and model-based development with single multicore software architecture. He has also served as an AUTOSAR architect for engine management application software components. His technical skills are not limited to software development, as he has also been involved in CMMI, ISO, and A-spice internal quality audits, both as an auditee and an auditor. As a Software Technical Project Lead and project architect for diesel programs, Laxmipathi has developed engine control unit application software functions and has been involved in the development of safety-critical software. He was also an industrialization pilot for two series production programs and has worked on the system development with HD40344 Hitachi microcontroller and 8085 microprocessor. Before joining MathWorks, Laxmipathi worked as a Senior Technical Architect at Continental and as a Systems Engineer at Siemens Information Systems Limited. He holds a Master of Science degree in Master of Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from KVG College of Engineering, Sullia.
