Leela Prabhu is a highly skilled Software Development Engineer with a passion for Machine Learning, Data Science, and Distributed Systems. With over 6 years of relevant experience in the field, she has a strong background in software engineering, ML, and Python. Currently, Leela is working as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, where she is a part of the Alexa Shopping team. In her role, she is responsible for developing and maintaining software systems that enable customers to shop with Alexa. Prior to her current role, Leela worked as a Senior Software Engineer in Machine Learning at Capital One. Here, she contributed to the development of a pipeline to monitor the splitting power of selected features and provide insights on features to include or engineer. She also played a key role in the development of a python package for time series forecasting and backtesting. Leela holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Southampton, as well as a Master's degree in Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh. She also has a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka. Leela is a highly motivated and results-oriented individual who is always eager to learn and grow in her field. She is an excellent team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
