Len Vaz is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 8 years of experience in the field. He is proficient in Angular, Flutter, Ionic and Typescript. Len is a fast learner and implementer, always eager to take on new challenges and develop his skills. Currently, Len is working as an Electrical Engineer (Trainee) at Selective Marine Services. He is responsible for performing installations, repairs, modifications, calibrations and preventative maintenance on heavy electrical equipment on the Teras Titanium Rig. Len also assisted in the fire alarm system testing on the rig, detecting and repairing faulty fire alarm sensors at different locations. He is also responsible for monitoring the 3 phase currents in the Rig Leg Motors during lifting the rig platform to higher levels. Len has also assisted in cable pulling and connecting the rest of the rig to the driller's console. Prior to his current role, Len was the Co-Founder of Suggestmychoice, where he was responsible for pre-development research for product categories, data structuring and management, automating data formatting, designing data flow algorithms, and data virtualization. He also led a team of interns for product enhancement research and execution and mentored interns in blog writing for Suggestmychoice's blog. Len has also worked as an App Developer at Purchasekaro.com, where he was responsible for category development, logic building and coding, integrating design and modifying as required, integrating and handling external APIs, using native Ionic-Cordova plugins for native functionalities, testing, and bug-tracking. Len holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University. He is skilled in software engineering, frontend and backend development, search, integration, UI, web, PHP, and is also a research scientist.
