Leny W V is a highly skilled and experienced software engineer with a passion for search and integration. Currently working at Google, Leny is responsible for working on Workspace Search, a critical component of the Google suite of products. With over 6.77 years of relevant experience, Leny has a proven track record of success in the industry. Prior to joining Google, Leny worked as a Senior Engineer at Commvault, where she was a key member of the Media Management Team responsible for critical subsystems for backups, restores, deduplication, and snapshot technology. As the sole owner of Commvault integration with HPE StoreOnce Catalyst stores, Leny leveraged hardware deduplication capabilities of the HPE device and supported replication to secondary sites without rehydrating entire data. Leny also managed several core features related to data deduplication, including data pruning, defragmentation, verification, database reconstruction, resynchronization, and more. Leny's contributions to Commvault were recognized with a third-place win in the Commvault Hackathon 2017 for creating a language server for a custom language used within the company. Leny also won first place in the Commvault Hackathon 2018 (non-Commvault category) for creating a tool that uses eye and mouse tracking to analyze user interactions with the Commvault command center. Leny's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Calicut, where she studied from 2012 to 2016.
