Leopoldo Peña is a Co-Founder at Presta and a Venture For America Alum with 7.79 years of relevant experience. He is actively building digital lending infrastructure for the future of banking. Previously, he built an equity investment platform for cities and online voting systems, which he describes as very fun and very tiring. Leopoldo is passionate about cooking for friends and strangers, and is obsessed with his dog, Chamo. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Communications & Computer Science) from Cornell University and attended El Toro High School. Leopoldo's past experience includes being a Co-Founder of The Opportunity Exchange, which was acquired and is now a part of Bludot. The Opportunity Exchange was where city building happens, and their software platform empowered community and economic development leaders to plan, finance, and build their community. He was also a Product Manager at Votem Corp., where he was the second employee. Votem® is restoring and bolstering trust, access, and transparency in elections with a core focus on developing the most secure and verifiable blockchain voting platform globally. Leopoldo's tech stack includes infra, product manager, and blockchain. He is a driven and innovative individual who is passionate about building digital solutions that make a positive impact on society.
