Leshna Balara is a highly motivated and skilled Computer Science Engineering Senior at IIT Roorkee with a passion for tinkering with the backend of both small and large systems. With over 2 years of relevant experience, Leshna is comfortable working with C++, Golang and Java, as well as having experience with Rust, Python, and Scala. Currently, Leshna is interning as an SRE at Twitter, where she is responsible for maintaining and scaling the company's infrastructure. Prior to this, she worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Google, where she created a microservice in Java to automate an end-to-end seeding process pipeline, which aimed to cut down 18 man-hours every month spent in manual seeding. She also developed a side-by-side viewer in Golang to display search-as-you-type results by querying multiple G Suite accounts in parallel, which assisted the engineers in comparing the search overlay results visually. Leshna's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from IIT Roorkee, which she will complete in December 2022. Her technical skillset includes SRE, Software Engineering, Java, Backend, Microservices, Python, Golang, and Scala. Leshna is always up for learning new things and taking on new challenges.
