Lia Skalkos is a Full Stack Developer with a passion for doing good. With almost two years of relevant experience, she has expertise in Ruby on Rails, React, and Ember.js. Additionally, Lia has infrastructure experience with Ansible, Terraform, and AWS. Currently, she works as a Software Engineer at Kindbody. Lia holds a Certificate in Web Development from NYU, a Master of Library and Information Science from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick, and a BA in English Language and Literatures from the University of Chicago. She also attended Flatiron School and Sackett Street Writers' Workshop. Lia is interested in working in the fertility/women's health spaces, environmental tech, education, and tools that improve the developer ecosystem.
