Liju Anton Joseph is a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer with expertise in developing highly available, scalable, and secure distributed systems. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Florida, Gainesville, and is actively looking for full-time positions. Liju has professional experience in developing microservices using Java and Python web frameworks. He is also proficient in developing services with Golang and Node.js. He has also developed a platform for real-time observability of the availability of T2D services and their third-party integrations, which is expected to reduce the Mean Time Taken to Detect and Repair (MTTD & MTTR) a downtime by 12 hours. Prior to Rivian, Liju worked as a Software Development Engineer at Zoho, where he worked under the Data Intelligence Team - Zoho CRM. He developed a business analytics component in Zia - Zoho’s AI assistant to reduce the man-hours in analytics by ≈ 92%. He also designed and developed microservices with RESTful APIs using Spring and CherryPy. Liju followed J2EE best practices, design patterns, and architectural patterns like Model-view-controller. He improvised the model training time by ≈ 88% by Random Sampling the customer data and serialized and cached the model in Redis, thereby reducing computation required for retraining by ≈ 80%.
