Likhit Unadkat is a Senior Android Engineer at semaai with over 5 years of relevant experience in mobile app and game development. He is passionate about learning and applying new technologies to his work, and enjoys creating clean and interactive user interfaces that provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for users. Likhit has worked with a range of different languages and frameworks, including Android, Kotlin, Firebase, Java, Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and git. He is always looking for new opportunities to work with something new and expand his skillset. Prior to his current position, Likhit worked as an Android Engineer at aktivolabs, where he was part of a team of 3 developers responsible for driving new features and enhancements for the app. He implemented the MVVM architecture, migrated the codebase to Kotlin, released Version 2 of the app, developed the Meditation (Mind) module from scratch, added Product Flavors for White Labelling, initiated Unit Testing, and did JCenter migration to Maven Central. He also worked on integrating GFit APIs and learning about Data Mutation. Likhit has also worked as a Freelance Developer on various projects, including an English speaking app for school-going students with 10,000+ downloads. He migrated the app from React Native to native, developed the core media recorder and player, implemented MVVM architecture, and used libraries such as RxJava, Dagger, and Exoplayer. He also built a data labeling app from scratch, implementing Payment Gateway Integration, Image Zooming, and Imaging Editing functionality. Likhit holds an Engineer's Degree in Electronics Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli.
