She enjoys being part of a team building something bigger than any of them could create on their own. Prior to her current role, Lillie worked as a Full Stack Engineer at bestbet55 where she contributed to the Django backend, providing restful APIs to mobile apps using high-coverage test-driven development. She owned follower/ing functionality and login flow from Django Rest Framework backend to React Native frontend. She also aided in dockerizing and deploying apps to Amazon Container Service, along with resultant changes to the codebase. Additionally, she optimized Django queries up to 35% using methods such as Prefetch, select_related, and the Django SQL Debugger. Lillie has also worked as a Custom Tools Engineer and Frontend Web Developer at Congregation Rodeph Sholom where she utilized VBA for Excel to build custom macros and streamline data, cutting administrative workload by 30%. She wrote further macros to amass and analyze attendance data, proving market success. She also designed a responsive and dynamic web page within a WordPress site to raise engagement, interest, and membership.
