Linda Pulickal is an experienced software engineer with almost 9 years of relevant experience in the field. She is currently on sabbatical, having previously worked at Pinterest as a Software Engineer. Linda has also worked at Yelp in the same capacity, where she focused on providing users with a personalized experience by mining and analyzing device location data. She led a project that improved the user's store visit prediction precision metric from 10% to 75% and developed a psql based redshift test system that improved test timings from 60mins to 40sec. Linda was also a team representative in the org-wide initiative to build a centralized user data store. Linda's previous projects include developing query-sensitive highlights, determining the sentiment of business facets from its reviews, and working as an intern mentorship project. She has also been a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Southern California, where she worked in the Computational Social Science Lab and was part of the development team of TACIT, a text analysis, collection, and interpretation tool. Linda worked on research studying a variance of A Star algorithm and was also a member of USC VEX Robotics club. Linda holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum. She completed her 12th and Class X from Marian Senior Secondary School, Kottayam, India. Linda's tech stack includes software engineering, search, test, SQL, Python, mobile, and Naive Bayes.
