She also owns key profitability initiatives, as well as strategic hiring and career development initiatives across Amazon Fresh. Lindsey is a key leader in two employee resource groups and regularly reports to Senior Vice President level. Prior to her current role, Lindsey was the Senior Software Development Manager for Hardlines Customer Experience at Amazon. She built a product and engineering team from 0 to 50 (engineer, product, QA, project management) to support custom experiences within the Hardlines categories. This team touched the entire retail technology stack at Amazon including UI, search, mobile, platform technologies, and more. Lindsey was the GM for these programs, managing both product and technical, significantly improving technical architecture and profitability. She championed a robust experimentation process which improved measurement of profitability for experiments across the organization. Lindsey also led hiring and culture initiatives across multiple VP level organizations. Lindsey holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of California, where she graduated in 2005. Her tech stack includes software engineering, senior software engineering, mobile, search, UI, QA, and ML. Lindsey is a highly skilled and experienced leader who is passionate about building amazing teams and software.
