Lior Rapaport is an accomplished software engineering executive with over 25 years of experience in the industry. As the current Vice President of Software Development at Yahoo, he has a proven track record of executing products that have yielded award-winning, revenue-generating, and profitable results. Lior is highly versatile with a marketing-engineering-operational-team leadership background, making him an excellent combination of visionary, strategic leadership and hands-on engineering management. In his current role, Lior heads the Supply Side Platform Engineering Group and oversees all day-to-day operations of a team of 150+ engineers. He provides leadership, guidance, and support to a group of direct-report managers while collaborating with the Product Management team on work prioritization and distribution. Lior implements strategic plans and roadmaps, manages any escalated issues, and handles ad-hoc projects. Before joining Yahoo, Lior held the position of Senior Director of Software Development at Yahoo, where he led the Video Supply Side Platform Engineering Group, helping publishers worldwide maximize their video advertisement related revenue. He also oversaw the adoption of Agile methodologies to improve on-time feature delivery and to help development teams maintain predictable release cadence. Lior has also worked at Array Networks, where he served as the Vice President of Mobile Solutions and Director of Software Development. He managed the establishment of an engineering team and implemented methodologies to support development and perennial growth of a new product line. Lior developed the initial concept and launched award-winning Desktop Direct product that provided a simple way for enterprises to offer large-scale, expedited, scalable, and secured remote access from desktops and mobile devices. Lior has a degree in Product Management Training from the UC Berkeley Center of Executive Education. He has a broad range of technical skills, including Software Engineering, Senior Software Engineering, Mobile, and QA.
