Lisa M Lambert is the Chief Technology and Innovation Officer at National Grid and Founder & President of National Grid Partners. With over 32 years of relevant experience, she is responsible for leading investments and innovation initiatives across the company. Prior to joining National Grid, Lisa was a Managing Partner at The Westly Group, a clean technology private venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley, where she was responsible for investments in software, internet of things, and energy technology companies. Lisa has invested in and helped grow some of Silicon Valley’s biggest technology successes including VMware, MySQL, Endeca, JBoss, Joulex, and Nexmo, to name a few. Before joining The Westly Group, Lisa worked at Intel Corporation for 19 years and was Vice President and Managing Director of Intel Capital’s Software and Services Fund and the Founder and Managing Director of the $125 million Intel Capital Diversity Fund. Lisa is one of the most successful investors in Silicon Valley having generated top decile returns with 8 IPOs and 35 M&A exits in her career. Lisa is currently on the board of directors for the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA).
