Loïc Bellemare-Alford is a full-time Software Engineer at Microsoft, working on the Outlook Web App Framework team. He graduated in May 2021 from Polytechnique Montréal in Software Engineering with a specialization in security. With 1.70 years of relevant experience, he has worked as a Software Engineering Intern on the Outlook Web App (OWA) Framework team at Microsoft, where his role was to deploy new and existing services to their Kubernetes cluster. As part of the OWA Framework team, Loïc works as a full-stack developer, helping speed up the app, creating and managing internal tools, and making the deployment process as smooth as possible. He has also founded his own web development company, LBA Créations, where he worked as a full-stack web developer. Loïc's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Computer Software Engineering from the Université de Montréal - École Polytechnique de Montréal, a Collégial in Sciences pures et appliquée, programme Eureka from Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf, and a Diplôme secondaire, Diplôme BI, Diplôme SÉBIQ in Formation et enseignement secondaires from École Internationale de Montréal. Apart from his work, Loïc enjoys photography and filmmaking, and spending time in nature. His tech stack includes Software Engineering, Web, and Kubernetes.
