Logan Bentley is a highly skilled Developer currently working at Jolt, a task management software company. Logan has worked on several recent projects, including an enterprise reporting system that pulls data from sharded databases into a centralized data-mart style warehouse using AWS cloud technologies and a list generation system that generates hundreds of thousands of lists daily for companies using AWS cloud technologies. Logan has also worked as a Developer and Backend Team Lead at Jolt, where he managed a team of 2-8 developers and implemented different levels of scrum. He has worked on a variety of different projects, including sharding a monolithic database into distributed smaller, scalable databases, implementing a database migration system to work across thousands of distributed databases, and creating a data pipeline using Apache Kafka for streaming and reacting to changes in data. Logan has also implemented a centralized auth server for login, granting of auth tokens, and validating of auth tokens, and a GraphQL API from scratch to be consumed by mobile, web, and customer clients. Logan holds a degree in Information Technology from Brigham Young University, where he studied from 2011 to 2017. He is proficient in Backend, AWS, MySQL, Web, Javascript, CI/CD, Docker, PHP, NodeJS, Kafka, Mobile, Kotlin, Android, and Frontend technologies.
