Logan Davidson is an interdisciplinary clean energy professional with extensive experience in asset management, solar project construction, technical writing, data analysis and visualization, web development, project management, and research. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering, graduating magna cum laude. Currently, Logan works as an Energy Efficiency Analyst at the International Center for Appropriate and Sustainable Technology (ICAST). In this role, he leverages his expertise to analyze energy usage patterns, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance energy efficiency in buildings and communities. He is also responsible for conducting research and providing technical support to ICAST's energy efficiency programs. Prior to joining ICAST, Logan worked as an Energy Analyst at Community Energy, Inc. Here, he conducted preliminary research on utilities, coal plants, geography, and landowners to determine potential future solar project locations using Google Earth, QGIS, and qualitative research. He also streamlined the data acquisition and entry process for company solar plant asset management, improved the invoice review process, and enhanced the tracking of solar module inventory. Logan's passion for climate justice led him to serve as a Hub Coordinator at Sunrise Movement. In this role, he led conversations on upcoming areas of action, formed the climate justice activism visual, action, and social media strategy on a weekly basis, and collaborated with other local climate justice organizations and activists. Logan's education includes a Certificate in Data Science from ixperience and a High School Diploma from Pomona High School. He is also proficient in web development and research science. With 8.86 years of relevant experience, Logan is a highly skilled and dedicated professional committed to advancing sustainable energy practices and climate justice initiatives.
