Lohit Peesapati is a skilled Software Engineer II with over 6 years of relevant experience in the field. He strongly believes in multidisciplinary thinking and is passionate about executing anything that interests him. Throughout his career, Lohit has exposed himself to various technologies in the fields of software, engineering, design, and management. He is inherently good at ideating, brainstorming, planning, and development, and has used his skills in projects focused on Advertising and Subscription Fintech (e-commerce) to build dashboards and analytics. Currently working at Postman as a Software Engineer, Lohit is well-versed in Backend development using NodeJS, NoSQL DB's (Mongo & Dynamo), Frontend development with experience in UI frameworks Bootstrap, SemanticUI, Front end libraries jQuery, Page Layouts and UX, Test frameworks Mocha and Chai, Version control using Git, Swagger, Server management and deployment with AWS Cloud. He has also worked with Unity3D, SQL, Python (numPy and sciPy) for small scale projects, and is familiar with Scrum and Agile frameworks. Lohit has previously worked at Optum as a Software Engineer, where he played a vital role in transforming existing applications built on legacy software & 3rd party platforms to be rebuilt from the ground up, on an open source technology stack on the frontend for multiple applications. He drove the initiative to build Inner source libraries for re-using components across multiple teams in pharmacy services, which helped increase the go-to-market time, reduce maintenance and save effort in re-work. Lohit has also worked as a Full Stack Developer at Rudra Labs, where he dabbled in various tools & technologies and put on multiple hats while working on multiple POCs for IoT products. Lohit's education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College, long-term coaching for GATE entrance from ACE Engineering College, and High School from Narayana Junior College, Vijayawada, India.
