Lokesh Chanana is a seasoned IT professional with over 9 years of relevant experience in DevOps, AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Cassandra, Jenkins, Redis, Elastic Search, Microservices, CI/CD, Ruby, NoSQL, Search, Puppet, Python, SQL, MongoDB, SRE, product management, Kubernetes, Docker, ETL, Postgres, Integration, and Web. He is currently working as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Blueshift, where he is responsible for maintaining a terraform-based AWS network to run Ruby-based microservices, managing clusters for Elastic Search, Cassandra, sylladb, Redis, RDS(Arora and prostgres) consul, Nomad, and NSQ, ensuring uptime and scalability of the environment with Ansible, Grafana, and Datadog, and automating processes like server rotation, cluster maintenance, and reboots to decrease RTO and RPO of the network. Prior to joining Blueshift, Lokesh worked as a DevOps Consultant at Deloitte, where he architected the solution to implement the serverless API infrastructure on AWS, led a team of 4 members to implement CI/CD pipeline using Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Maven, implemented end-to-end functional monitoring architecture to ensure uptime SLAs, designed and implemented the deployment automation architecture with Jenkins and Rundeck, and promoted Think-DevOps culture within the State government projects managing sensitive HIPAA compliant data. He has also worked as an Analyst (Internship) at Utah Transit Authority, where he conducted C-suite presentations to highlight areas of concerns and potential solution based on Infrastructure needs, deployed and managed infrastructure for the web services to host python-based visualization dashboards, created APIs to gather and preprocess data for ingestion into the ETL framework, reduced employee acquisition cost by improved targeting based on profiling of current employees, predicted retirements based on predictive models, and integrated data from JD Edwards and public APIs for report generation. Lokesh holds a Master of Business Administration - MBA and a Master of Science - MS in Business Analytics from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Maharishi Dayanand University-Apeejay College of Engineering.
