Lokesh Das is a highly skilled PhD student and researcher with a strong background in Intelligent Transportation Systems, Connected and Autonomous Vehicles, and Machine Learning. He is currently a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Memphis, where he is pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy degree. Lokesh has extensive experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and Data Science. He is passionate about exploring the intersection of technology and transportation to create innovative solutions that can improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability. Prior to joining the University of Memphis, Lokesh worked as a Software Engineer, where he honed his skills in Objective C, Swift, Java, C/C++, Algorithm, and Problem-solving. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Lokesh is currently a Reviewer at IEEE Robotics & Automation Letters and has previously worked as a Software Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute, Bangladesh and BJIT. In addition to his academic and professional achievements, Lokesh is highly proficient in a range of technologies, including Reinforcement Learning, Research Scientist, Deep Learning, ML, Data Scientist, Objective-c, Software Engineer, Java, Swift, and C. He has relevant experience of 3.45 years. Lokesh is a dedicated and enthusiastic researcher who is committed to advancing the field of Intelligent Transportation Systems through cutting-edge research and innovation.
