Lokesh Jain is a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a passion for distributed systems, scale, and storage. With over 6 years of relevant experience, he has established himself as an expert in the field of parallel and distributed systems. Currently working at Cloudera, Lokesh is focused on the Apache Hadoop project - Ozone, which is an object store being developed to solve the scalability problem of Hadoop Distributed Filesystem. He is also working on Apache Ratis, which is an implementation of Raft consensus protocol. His work on these projects has helped him gain an in-depth understanding of the complexity and scalability of distributed systems. Prior to his current role, Lokesh worked as a Software Engineer at Cloudera and as an Apache Ozone PMC at The Apache Software Foundation. His experience in these roles has helped him develop a strong foundation in Hadoop, HDFS, Java, and Python. Lokesh has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and a Master's degree in Mathematics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. His education has helped him develop a strong foundation in relevant technical skills such as sentiment analysis, big data, neural networks, and docker.
