Louis Christopher Alan is an experienced software engineer with a focus on web-app development, Ruby on Rails, and Python language. He has a strong background in the Scrum development process and has worked on a variety of projects throughout his career. Currently, Louis works as a Software Engineer at Xfers, where he continues to hone his skills in software engineering. In his previous role at Tinkerlust, Louis was responsible for designing and developing a microservice to handle image manipulation and uploading to S3, which is now used for the entire product image manipulation on the Tinkerlust website. He also developed a worker to migrate over 200,000 old product pictures into the new system. Additionally, Louis designed and developed systems for the entire order and refund flow processes of Tinkerlust, including UML database diagrams, flowchart diagrams, wireframes, and development using Ruby on Rails and ReactJS for its pages. Louis has a Bachelor of Information Technologies degree with a focus on UX from the University of Queensland, as well as a Sarjana Komputer degree in Computer Science from the University of Indonesia. He has a strong technical skill set, including expertise in software engineering, Ruby, microservices, frontend and backend development, MySQL, and ReactJS. With over four years of relevant experience, Louis is a skilled and dedicated software engineer who is passionate about creating innovative solutions that meet the needs of his clients.
