Lucas Elzinga is a Full Stack Developer with over 11 years of relevant experience in the tech industry. Currently working at Microsoft as a Web Developer/General Programmer, he has designed, created, and tested a ticket management system with admin panels, knowledge bases, user dashboards, and email integration. He has also worked on a validation framework/tests for hardware in Microsoft Analytical Platform System using C# and developed a deployment management portal using customized XML template system. He has further developed a capacity management tool leveraging asset database, providing visuals and summaries of buildings, rooms, and labs in a user-friendly and responsive manner. Lucas has also guided and taught interns with no in-depth knowledge of programming, teaching them the structure and frameworks of existing tools to add their own ideas and features. He has managed software feature design documents and documentation of execution, as well as created and consolidated documentation for team processes. With his expertise in C# and PowerShell, he has increased the team’s daily productivity, resulting in an overall improvement in automation, infrastructure, and speed within the team. Prior to his current role, Lucas worked as an Operations Engineer at Microsoft, where he created, maintained, and ran WTT jobs, deployed Dell, HP, and Quanta Servers with storage arrays (JBODs), and deployed and configured Ethernet and Mellanox Infiniband switches. He also worked at GameStop as a Game Advisor, where he sold and advertised games and the GameStop pro-membership card. Lucas holds a High School Diploma from Kent Mountain View Academy. His tech stack includes Web, SQL, Integration, infra, Data Warehouse, and test. He is looking for a position that not only challenges him but also allows him to improve his work ethic and expand his horizons, furthering his knowledge and experience in the position he is given, in the hopes that he may acquire a higher position in a professional career through the experience he has earned.
