Lucas Gauer is a seasoned Senior Frontend Engineer and Software Consultant with over four years of relevant experience. He is currently working at ThoughtWorks as a Frontend Software Engineer, where he utilizes agile practices such as pair programming, functional tests, CI, TDD, feature flags, A/B testing, canary releases, and monitoring to work on a checkout platform and a family plan system. Prior to his current role, Lucas worked at Grupo RBS as a Senior Frontend Engineer, where he was responsible for architecting a SSO micro-frontend solution for a big news portal with 20M views/month. He also contributed to users base cloud migration, users access recovery flow redesign, and users base management tool. His ideas, development, and onboarding of new members added significant value to the product. Lucas also worked as a Senior Frontend Engineer at Zallpy Digital, where he served as a frontend technical reference of an agile team focused on a rich product redesign, using primarily React and Redux. He collaborated with the teams of their client ADP to deliver valuable projects for the web platform Service Place (Latam), such as financial connect integration wizard and dashboard, employee's working hours fixing auto service, and employee's leaves and vacations auto service. Lucas graduated with a Bachelor of Information Systems from Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos in 2019 and an IT Technician degree from Colégio Sinodal Progresso in 2011.
