Lucia Subatin is a Technical Lead for Strategy and Architecture at Google Cloud, with over 8 years of experience in the technology industry. Her passion lies in flying enterprises into Google Cloud, gaining insights through advanced analytics, and future-proofing stacks and careers through cloud-native application modernization. Currently, Lucia is the Technical Lead and Chief Architect for the Google Cloud Cortex Framework, where she designs and creates data and analytics solutions with microservices-based applications to robustly enable businesses into the cloud. Prior to Google, Lucia worked as a Developer Advocate at SAP Central Engineering, where she built a close relationship with the developer community, acted as a communication and advocacy channel with Product Management and Engineering teams, and designed and created content for hands-on workshops on SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, cloud-native development, and partner technologies. Lucia also has experience as an SAP Manager at Deloitte, where she worked on client opportunities, set and planned the scope and staffing, responded to Requests for Proposals, and led the build and showcase of BYOD demos. She also consolidated multi-disciplinary teams to deliver implementation projects, conducted project planning activities, and ensured execution within proven methodologies and industry quality standards. Lucia holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from UADE and a BSc in Information Systems from UADE. She also has a degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional and completed high school at IESLV J R Fernandez. Lucia's technical skills include Senior Software Engineering, Microservices, product management, Mobile, and Frontend. Her relevant experience in the industry is 8.87 years. Lucia is a proud geek whose passion for technology started as early as she started to read and write.
