Luis Ferrer-Labarca is a seasoned Technical Product Manager and entrepreneur with a keen interest in tech startups, product management, and business model development. Born and raised in Venezuela, Luis was instilled with the values of education, business, and morals by his entrepreneur parents. He attended a Montessori high school in his hometown before moving on to Georgia State University (GSU) to pursue a major in Computer Science and a minor in Entrepreneurship. During his college years, Luis co-founded PantherHackers, which is now the largest tech student organization at GSU, and BitCraft, a software firm focused initially on cryptocurrency technologies and later on web development and cloud infrastructure. Currently, Luis works as a Product Manager & Full Stack Engineer at Calendly, where he is helping over 5 million people schedule meetings without the back-and-forth emails. Luis has also worked as a Software Engineer at Rigor and as a Podcast Host at Do It For Me, where he and his team leveraged any resources at their disposal to make their lives easier. Luis's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from Georgia State University and a High School Degree in Sciences from U.E. Instituto Maria Montessori. His tech stack includes product management, web development, and infrastructure. With almost five years of relevant experience, Luis has honed his skills in product management, software engineering, and entrepreneurship.
