Luis Guerra is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer at Scalable. With over a decade of experience in web tech, Luis is passionate about discovering new technologies and building new projects. He firmly believes that the only way to do great work is to love what you do. Luis is proficient in various web technologies such as Javascript, PHP, Node.js, HTML, and AWS. He has worked on several projects throughout his career, including Amazon Custom Skill for managing tasks, assigning work orders, and DevOPS experience with hosting and cloud computing such as Amazon Web Services, Digital Ocean, HostGator, among others. He has also built web applications such as a system for managing insurance company agents, supporting policies, incidents, tasks, reports, and more. In his previous roles, Luis worked as an IT Consultant for freelance web development and as a Senior Frontend Developer at Apptegy. At Apptegy, he developed a Vue.js solution for public and private schools in the USA to improve communication between schools, students, and parents. He also played the role of a scrum master in the CMS team, which led the standup meetings and retrospective, maintaining a healthy workload on each sprint. Luis holds an Engineer's degree in Computer Science from the Universidad de Monterrey, where he studied from 2005-2010.
