Luis Ludmer is a certified Senior Project Manager, Content Developer, and Communication Strategist with an MSc in Cultural Studies and an MA in Film Production. With over 15 years of relevant experience, he has performed with high skills in a wide spectrum of roles such as Creative Director, Manager, Executive Producer, and Curator for both corporate and independent companies from the private and non-profit sectors. Luis is also a Cultural Studies researcher specialized in Latin American History and Film History, particularly 20th Century and Contemporary Brazilian Studies. He is a guest Professor of Communications at EAESP–FGV since 2019. Currently, Luis is working as the Archives Manager at Instituto Vladimir Herzog, where he manages the Vladimir Herzog's Archives Academic and Technical Manager on both physical and digital platforms. He is responsible for preserving the memory of the Brazilian dictatorship and the life and work of the journalist and human rights activist Vladimir Herzog. In the past, Luis has served as a Board Member at Instituto Vladimir Herzog and has been a member of the Jury of the 38th Vladimir Herzog Journalism Award. He has also worked as an Executive Producer, Director, and Filmmaker at Outrarias Comunicação, where he was an independent director and consultant to corporate clients in the Film and Media industries, helping them develop and improve their brands' value. Luis has a Master's degree in MSc Projeto, Espaço Cultura from the Universidade de São Paulo, which he completed in 2019. He also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from the Vancouver Film School, which he completed in 2009. Luis's Tech Stack includes being a Research Scientist. Overall, he is a highly skilled and experienced professional with a passion for preserving history and promoting human rights through his work.
