Luiza Soares is a highly experienced Tech Recruiter, Talent Acquisition, and Human Resources Consultant with over 9 years of experience in multinational companies, industries, and technology markets. She specializes in recruitment and selection, having worked with operational, executive, and technology job openings. Luiza has international experience in Canada for language improvement, holding an IELTS CEFR Level C1 certification. She is currently a student of Human Resources Management at Algonquin College in Ottawa. Currently working as a Global Tech Recruiter Specialist at gympass, Luiza partners with technology leaders on consulting about the recruitment process. She conducts the entire lifecycle of the recruitment process, including holding kick-off meetings, defining job descriptions, advertising open positions, sourcing for passive candidates, creating guides/scripts for interviewers, phone screening (video calls), behavioral interviewing, coordinating assessments, scheduling interviews and hiring committees, providing timely feedback, creating and negotiating job offers proposals, closing candidates, and submitting to admissions departments. Luiza has experience using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter (boolean search), Hired, Greenhouse ATS, Workday, Calendly, Buffer, Google Workspace, and others. At powertofly, she encouraged diversity and inclusion in companies by recruiting and hiring talented women, non-binary, gender-nonconforming people, and allies. At méliuz, she was responsible for end-to-end recruitment cycle management of technology and staff positions. She also trained, managed, and developed the recruitment team and was in charge of strategic recruitment planning, such as budget management, definition, process improvement, and relationship with suppliers, among others.
