Luminto Luhur is an experienced API Product Manager with over 4 years of experience in the payments industry in Indonesia. He specializes in API Design, API Experience, and API Management (Security, Reliability, Performance). Luminto is currently working at Xendit, a Payment Gateway with a mission to build digital infrastructure for SEA. He is passionate about talking to customers and solving their problems. Luminto works with various teams and stakeholders to manage issues and deliver features to customers. He has achieved API reliability with 0 outage for 2 years+ and counting, and strengthened security features for API transactions. Apart from API management, Luminto has also been managing public documentation for over 1.5 years to specialize his UI/UX and writing skills. He has been working as a Product Manager for Xendit Docs, a side hustle from his API Product Manager role. Luminto has been responsible for creating simple and beautiful Docs for Xendit customers, working with designers and engineers to develop, test, and launch UI/UX functionalities. He measures and reviews key Docs metrics to identify gaps and deliver improvements. In his past roles at Xendit, Luminto has been responsible for ensuring and empowering teams to produce simple, easy-to-use, and consistent APIs to customers. He designed 40+ APIs for customers over 2 years+ and unified money-in and money-out APIs across different payment methods and channels for simplicity and scalability. Luminto has also been working in several key API areas such as API management/gateway, API authorization/oAuth 2.0, Webhooks, Libraries/SDKs, building a platform to scale growing teams, and the quality of API documentation in terms of design and contents production. Luminto has a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) and completed his high school education from SMA Sutomo 1. He has relevant experience of 5.94 years and possesses skills in product management, UI, infrastructure, and testing. Luminto is open and constantly learning about new hard skills and soft skills, such as API infrastructure, stakeholder management, decision-making frameworks, and more. In his spare time, he enjoys exploring and learning about crypto technologies, decentralization, L1/L2 layers, de-fi, etc., as he believes decentralization could be a great alternative for humankind on top of centralization.
