Madhusudan Hn is a highly experienced Director of Security Engineering with over 16 years of experience in the field. He is currently working at VMware where he leads a global team across the US, India, and Europe. Madhusudan is responsible for driving security posture improvement of products and SaaS through various initiatives such as pen testing scoping improvements, measuring the security posture of the products based on the classes of security issues, doing variant analysis of critical defects, and automating the pen testing discovery of weaker areas in the products. Prior to his current role, Madhusudan worked at VMware as an R&D Manager where he was responsible for managing the Automation framework development and tools development teams using DJANGO and STAF service technologies. He also worked at McAfee as a Sr. QA Engineer where he was involved in testing Group Shield Domino server, an antivirus solution for IBM Lotus Domino server. His responsibilities included comparative analysis of competitive solutions, stress and functional testing, and automation. Madhusudan holds a Senior Business Management degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, and a Post Graduation in IoT from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He also holds an MS in Software Systems from BIT Mesra Student-Industry Relations Cell and a BE in Automobile from the University of Mysore. Madhusudan's technical skills include test, Django, and QA. He has a strong track record of delivering results and driving innovation in the field of security engineering.
