Madhusudan Vaishnao is a Software Development Engineer I at Expedia Group, with a passion for solving real-world problems using computer science. He is currently part of the Reliability Platform Org, whose mission is to migrate completely to Kubefed and Kubernetes from EKS Clusters and legacy systems. Madhusudan has experience working with technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, and its microservices, and prefers using C++ over English. Madhusudan graduated from NSIT Delhi and has a degree in Manufacturing Processes & Automation Engineering. He has had a stint with Competitive Programming since a long while back with Global Rank 57 in Codechef Lunchtime 2017 and Global Rank 64 in Codechef Lunchtime 2016. At Expedia Group, Madhusudan has supervised and taught more than 100 new developer hires and interns in the APAC region to start contributing to production on day 1. He has also led the way for new hires to understand basic developer tools and skills as a part of their Engineering Bootcamp. Currently, he is part of the Progressive Deployment team of Reliability Platform Health Org and working on enabling progressive deployment as a default deployment type to reduce the blast radius of bad releases and the revenue lost due to it.
