Mahesh Reddy is a highly skilled and motivated graduate student in Computing Science at Simon Fraser University, specializing in deep learning and its applications in computer vision and interactive image editing. As a Graduate Research Assistant, he is advised by Prof. Yagiz Aksoy and is working on problems related to 3D computer vision. Mahesh has a strong research background and has worked on several exciting projects throughout his academic career. Prior to his current role, he was a research intern at Borealis AI, where he designed a model explainability framework for financial systems. He also completed his MSc in CS from the University of Manitoba, where he was advised by Prof. Yang Wang. During this time, he developed deep learning models for various scene understanding problems, including crowd density estimation, video understanding, and anomaly detection. Mahesh's education history includes a Master of Science in Computing Science from Simon Fraser University, which he will complete in December 2022. He also holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Science from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University. Mahesh's technical skills include research, computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, and AI. He has 1.86 years of relevant experience and is passionate about using his skills to solve real-world problems.
