Mahesh Vaidya is a highly experienced cloud and DevOps architect with over 20 years of relevant experience. He is an expert in traditional DevOps as well as modern DevOps on public clouds like AWS and GCP. Mahesh has hands-on experience with Golang, Python, and the Kuberenets ecosystem, including EKS, AKS, Helm, and Prometheus. Currently working as a DevOps Architect at Philips Healthcare in Bengaluru, India, Mahesh's expertise revolves around Azure DevOps, Kuberenetes, Helm, Flux, Istio, service mesh, IIS, SQL Server, Golang, and Python, as well as bash and vim. He is an individual contributor and a foot soldier, always ready to roll up his sleeves and get the job done. Mahesh has worked in several companies in the past, including Adva Optical Networking and Awanitron Technologies Private Limited, where he served as a Senior DevOps Engineer and Founder Director, respectively. At Awanitron, he specialized in setting up Dockers, Ansible, SaltStack-based DevOps, Atlassian Stash, Jira, and Bamboo-based CI/CD setup and consulting. He is also an expert in Git, Gerrit, and AOSP-based SCM systems. Mahesh holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
