Mahesha Nanjundaiah is a highly accomplished technology leader with over 27 years of experience in engineering and management. As the Vice President of Storage, BI, and DB Products at Rocket Software, a Bain Capital portfolio company, he is responsible for driving the P&L of multimillion-dollar revenue products in mission-critical storage, virtualization, BI, and database connectivity system software products. He is also a member of the Board of Directors at Rocket and ASG. Mahesha is a passionate innovator with a prolific track record of delivering lectures, talks, and keynote addresses in various industry, customer, and academic conferences internationally. He has extensive experience in systems software development, including Linux kernel, file systems, network-attached storage (NAS), hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), virtual storage appliance (VSA), software-defined storage (SDS), operating systems, compilers, and Java virtual machines for multiple architectures. Mahesha has managed global R&D teams of 200+ people spread across India, the US, and European geographies. He has a proven track record of building top talented engineering teams, developing next-generation products, engaging with functional groups, value chain partners, ISVs, and direct customers. He is also skilled in product strategy, development, innovation, execution, people management, partner management, M&A, partnerships, and customer satisfaction. Mahesha's education includes a Master of Business Administration from the Jack Welch Management Institute, a Stanford Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program from Stanford University, a Master of Computer Applications from the University of Mysore, and a Bachelor's Degree in Science from the University of Mysore. Mahesha's tech stack includes Java, software engineering, infrastructure, senior software engineering, and QA. He is a patent holder and has published his work in technical conferences. Mahesha started his career as a software engineer at PCL Mindware and Humming Bird Automation.
