Mahima Soota is an Aerospace and Avionics Engineer with over 2 years of internship experience. She is currently pursuing her post-graduation in Aerospace and Avionics, which is set to be completed in July 2022. Mahima has a broad range of skills and knowledge in Space Mission Systems, Satellite Software, Software Designing, Guidance, Navigation and Control, Space Situational Awareness, Martian Systems, Aviation, Drones, and Micro Unmanned Vehicles. She is proficient in MATLAB Simulink, Python, and C++. Mahima has a strong passion for teaching and has over 1.5 years of teaching experience in Full Stack Web Development, Software Application Design with Python, and Artificial Intelligence Concepts with JavaScript. She has also worked as a Senior Coding Tutor for Camp K12, where she taught kids aged 6 to 17 about basic concepts of coding and other technologies online. Additionally, she has worked as a Mobile Application Development Instructor for kids aged 6 to 14 using platforms like Thunkable and MIT App Inventor. Currently, Mahima is working as a Space Systems Intern at Samkalpa Systems Pvt Ltd, where she is working on AGI STK and ODTK software plugins and providing technical assistance to its users. Her tasks include looking into theoretical aspects of different statistical features employed, studying the software suites and looking for bugs, and making and/or aiding systems engineering scenarios in STK. Mahima has completed her Master of Technology in Avionics and Bachelor of Technology in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology from Amity University. She has also completed a Mutual Fund Distributorship from the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) and her Class 12 from Holy Child School. Mahima's tech stack includes Python, AI, Web, Javascript, Computer Vision, OpenCV, and Research Scientist.
