Maithilee Kulkarni is a talented Software Engineer and AI/ML specialist with over two years of experience in the field. She is currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin, where she is using Reinforcement Learning algorithms to improve the coverage in simulation-based verification of digital systems. Prior to this, Maithilee worked at Xilinx (now part of AMD) as a Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, where she was involved in the architecture description of Network-On-Chip and the Power Performance Area analysis of Adaptive Compute Acceleration Platform (ACAP) architecture. She has a strong background in computer architecture, VLSI, and the application of machine learning in these fields. Maithilee holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas, Austin, where she specialized in ACSES (Architecture, Computer Systems, and Embedded Systems). She also has a Graduate Certificate in Hardware Accelerators for Machine Learning from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the College of Engineering.
